What are we?
Frisson Sessions is a cultural association born from a passion for music, vinyl, and conscious listening. Driven by individuals connected to the world of live music, concert photography, and the specialization in original pressings, we create gatherings where the record regains its original value as a complete work. We focus exclusively on Black music and original pressings — mainly from the US, UK, and Japan — to offer a listening experience that is faithful to the artist’s intent.
Our sessions take place in different formats: from Jazz Kissa–inspired environments, where music, silence, and social interaction coexist, to more audiophile-oriented experiences that explore how pressings, equipment, and technical details shape sound perception. We also develop educational formats, placing each record within its historical, social, and artistic context to deepen its cultural meaning.
At its core, Frisson Sessions aims to be a meeting point for attentive listening, shared impressions, and rediscovering music as it was meant to be experienced: with time, quality, and meaning.
